Sue Delaney grew up in Middleboro, MA with one brother and sister and worked at family owned local restaurant. She received her AD from Massasoit Community College in Business, and finished with her BA in Travel and Tourism from Johnson and Wales University in 1995.
Employed by Collette Vacations for 16 years as an Inside Sales Call Center Supervisor, Sue specialized in Visas and all the requirements necessary for each tour as well as implementing a “Help Desk” (FAQ) for inside and outside sales departments to utilize in their daily business. She traveled extensively and became knowledgeable of many destinations while employed by Collette Vacations: Australia, Africa, China, Italy, South America and Portugal just to name a few. She learned from the best and knew she could offer something to people who did not have the time or energy to search for a vacation. More importantly, Sue had handled all customer service issues with travel agents and direct clients. In 2009, she decided to go “on her own” as Destinations By Sue. She ultimately wanted to provide personalized service, experience, and special attention to detail for people planning their vacations.
As a Certified Travel Expert in many areas, Destinations By Sue has had success in aspects from group travel (100+ more people) to destination weddings.
