Joy Bennett, ERYT-500 is a yoga therapist. She uses the art and science of yoga in a therapeutic way, to relieve the symptoms, and address the root of:

In past years, she has been commissioned to teach throughout the US and Canada, including Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, New York, and Ontario.
In addition to offering yoga therapy, she regularly mentors health care practitioners throughout the US and Canada, enabling them to incorporate some of the therapeutic practices in which she has trained.
Her work is featured in several books, including “Yoga Skills for Therapists: Effective Practices for Mood Management—No Mat Required”, written by Amy Weintraub, MA, ERYT-500, and “Non-Drug Treatments for ADHD: New Options for Kids, Adults, & Clinicians”, written by Drs. Richard Brown & Patricia Gerbarg.
Joy also offers CranioSacral Therapy at both of her studios to private clients. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on approach that releases tensions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve whole-body health and performance. Joy’s particular style as a CranioSacral Practitioner is known for deep relaxation and relief from chronic pain.
Joy is a frequent presenter at various wellness and medical conferences. She has been asked to present her work on yoga for children with ADHD at the American Psychiatric Association’s Annual Symposium to be held in NYC next year.
